“Haircut for a Cure” Raises Nearly $5,000 to Support American Cancer Society Program at Northern Westchester Hospital
MT. KISCO, N.Y. (June 18, 2008) — The professional stylists at Billy’s of Mt. Kisco recently donated their time for the second annual “Haircut for a Cure,” a unique fund-raising event to help the American Cancer Society (ACS) and its Patient Navigation Program at Northern Westchester Hospital (NWH). More than 50 Westchester residents spent the day beautifying for a cause, and together they raised nearly $5,000 to provide cancer patients and their families with access to the critical services and resources available to meet their special needs. Spinelli’s Restaurant and Passage to India generously donated lunch for the cause.
